Lockhard's New Breeding Plan
We found the right combination of
breeding for our Lockhard German Shorthaired Pointers with Lockhard's
Miss Millie and Ivory's Big Oaks Sam (Tommy, Jr.), however Millie had her last litter in 2009. They produced some fabulous pups, with only positive feedback
from puppy owners. Many of these dogs hunted at the same club as us,
and recognizing them in the field gave us great satisfaction. We were pleased to hunt behind them or watch them hunt in
the field. Nothing gave us more satisfaction than seeing them mature
Don’t think for a minute that the Ivory's Big Oaks
Sam/Miss Millie's lines are gone. Let’s talk about Lockhard’s
Maude. Tommy, Jr. is her daddy and
Maude has the style and mannerisms that we're looking for! We are looking for the right stud for Maude.
Up and coming is our new stud, Lockhard's Ohio Buckeye. Out of all the pups from Miss Millie's litters, Buck is personable and showing a fine nose and temperament. We are excited about his upcoming breeding possibilities.
Both Maude and Buck will have their hips confirmed prior to breeding.

Lockhard's Miss Maude, with bloodlines
from Ivory's Big Oaks Sam (Tommy, Jr.), Big
Oaks Snap-E-Tom and Tonelli's
Rising Sun joined our family of Lockhard dogs at the
beginning of July 2007. She is proving to have
a great future as a bird and family dog. Her pedigree will be a
great addition to our breeding plan.
