Alumni

Our started dogs live and train with us for 6 months to a year. They become part of our family and we make sure they go to live with good hunting families. Our started dogs are Lockhard's Gustav, Rosco, Coach, Jake, Baron, Bruiser, Zeke, and, the latest additions, Porter, Tomo, and #1, 8 & 9 from Millie' 3rd litter. (#1, 8 & 9 are still available for sale.)

Lockhard's Gustav
Buster Lockhard's son and Millie's brother, Gus lives with his family in Rocklin. He has matured into a handsome and fine bird dog. His sired a 2007 litter of 12 pups!

Miss Mille Produces Fine Dogs

Millie has had 3 litters. The 2005 litter produced 8 pups; Coach and Jake were trained as started dogs. The 2006 litter produced 7 pups; Baron was trained as a started dog. Her 2007 litter produced 10 pups, of which 3-5 will be trained as started dogs.

Lockhard's Coach
2005 puppy #1, lives in Los Gatos with Guy and Lonnie. She enjoys lots of hunting with Dad and runs daily with Mom.

Lockhard's Rosco
Rosco comes back often for training, to swim in the pond, and run in the field with our dogs. He lives in Chico with Lance, an avid outdoorsman. Rosco hunts a lot, and for that we are grateful.
