Our German Shorthaired Pointer puppies have been bred to hunt and will be athletes—high-energy, active, and big-running. Obedience must be taken to a higher level because their natural instincts combined with their physical performance level create an energy that requires daily discipline and direction. We strive to place our puppies with families with needs that match those of our dogs.

Lockhard's Miss Millie is a dainty tomboy, quick and graceful in the field, and loving and obedient in the house. She is the perfect blend of a bird and family dog. Her quiet disposition and exquisite hunting abilities were evident in her first 2 litters—we've been happily following many of the puppies as they've matured.
