Duke
Duke stole our hearts and proved he's a bird dog. click for big and more (13 photos). I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know we are doing fine. I can’t wait for duck season to open. We train about every other day and so far he has been good. Few corrections are needed. I am just wondering how he will do in the blind. Although I would like to take an active role in hunting this year I think I will just pay close attention to him and watch him work. My buddy who I hunt with will enjoy killing all the birds this year as I watch. I will ensure I kill something over him so he will have something to get, even if it’s a “Coot”. Hope all is well with you and your staff. I appreciate all you have done with Duke. If you need any referrals please let me know. I will be happy to speak on your behalf and the training/facility you provide for your customers. Malakai
Alexia and Malakai. Click for big. I just wanted to tell you I am so happy with the progress Malakai has made!! You did a great job in training him for me. He listens much better, walks calmly on the leash and doesn't pull, he's also more relaxed in the house as well! I work on his training every day at the park where there are lots of birds to distract him and he's doing well. What you did with him was great, because now he has a solid obedience foundation and its easier for me to keep up his training on my own. He's such a great dog and you've allowed him to become even better!! Thank you so much again! Please have a wonderful holiday with your wife and your dogs!! Kootz
Kootz came for PuppyGarden and returned for Formal Training. He had a wonderful hunting season and is well-behaved at home. click for big. Kootz is doing great! He is such a good boy. In fact, I got to go out with him and Ryan today on a quail hunt. He minded so well and he takes his job out there very seriously. He does an excellent job flushing up the birds and then retrieving them for Ryan. Unfortunately, he only got to go duck hunting twice this season, but did well. He listens so good and sometimes only needs one quick reminder or none at all! He stays at a heel while walking with Ryan with no leash out in the field whenever Ryan needs him to. He just gets so excited when Ryan loads him up in the truck to go out. We are both really proud of him and think you've done a great job with him. We will keep in touch.
